Hi All,
I've been to several libraries in California (I'm in the bay area), and using their LINK+ system they've searched for the book and it is not available anywhere in the California public library system. My school library does not have a copy, and the offices I worked in don't have a copy, either. I'm not sure if you've searched online for a .pdf or ebook version, but I've had no luck with any of those links, as they come up as "no longer available." The price of this book on Amazon is PROHIBITIVELY expensive; $345 on the cheap side and $485 on the high side:
There seem to be a lot of questions on Exam 2 re project management, and I'd like to be able to study effectively for this topic. Is there anyone in the East Bay that has a copy of this book that I can borrow, or who can suggest how to get a copy? Is there another resource recommended for project management? CLARB has not responded to my inquiry about the unavailability of this recommended reading material in California.
Thanks much,
a.
Also, as a side note on another topic, it was recommended through a LARE prep course that exam takers "set up a practice with Pearson-Vue to understand the interface/get oriented to the test location/reduce pre-exam jitters." I called Pearson-Vue to set this up, and you cannot schedule an "orientation-type" appointment prior to your exams. They have never heard of such a thing, and will not make an appointment, at least not at the Oakland office. Please tell me if there's something else I should be requesting from them or if anyone else has tried this and had success at their location.
