I believe it was mentioned in one of the webinars I attended, but can anyone confirm if you're able to bring a pen/pencil and blank paper into the testing center?  (Bonus points if you just took a section during this summer administration and can confirm! :) )

I take Section 1 on Wednesday so the last minute cramming is only allowing so much info to stick in my brain!

Hi Kim! You literally cannot bring a single thing into the testing station. All will be asked to be removed and placed in a bag upon arrival. CLARB has in the last year or so allowed the use of a physical white board/marker and calculator, which would be provided by the testing center. They may give you push back. They have for me. Need to kind of be pushy and tell them its "CLARB approved" please look up and verify. Best of luck!

Small world, I know Dave Kenyon (we work together at Wendel) met with you. Hope all is well!

Only the testing center can provide to you with either (A) white board with sharpie (and a few pieces of tissue to wipe the board after use) or (B) a pencil and one piece of white paper. I had both (A) or (B) during my exams. Calculator can be requested, but you may have to ask the test center people to check with your exam details if they initially said no.

During my last exam in april, I was asked to remove my wind breaker jacket before entering the exam room saying that piece of clothing would make too much "noise". They do screen people with a metal detector and also ask you to flip the pockets in the pants and roll up your sleeves to make sure nothing was concealed....

Best of luck with your exams!
