LARE Section 4 - Nomograph for manning's equation

Does anybody understand how to use the nomograph provided at the bottom of the CLARB orientation guide for Manning's equation? Screen Shot 2021-12-06 at 8.01.40 AM.png
Is it as simple as drawing a single straight line through two known values and determining the other values from where the line intersects the other scales? Or is there more to it? 

I can see some examples online there are several lines. 

Any help would be greatly appreciated!
