From my understanding, geomorphology is the study of landforms and earth's surfaces and the processes that shape them. I like to think of geomorphology as the history of landforms including what is happening now and will later become part of the landscape's history. Geomorphological processes include erosion, sedimentation, and landslides. Physiography is similar to geomorphology and involves classifying and studying the formation of the earth's landforms. I have also heard the term physical geography used to describe physiography.

I think geomorphology is a little more complicated than physiography. Physiography, as the name highlights, it is the physical components of the topography. While geomorphology is a more complex study based on the scientific changes caused to the topography based on physical, chemical or biological processes. Same as the answer above, processes like erosion, landslides, earthquakes, etc.
