to LARE Exam
Hey folks,
I have taken and not passed two exams so far (section 2 and section 3). I am not sure what I am doing wrong... I have been studying about 4-6 hours a week for two-three months leading up to the exam. I score really well on any practice exams, but when I get my exam results back I am always marginally failing in one area and do not pass. I work full time, and have pretty severe ADHD, so sometimes testing conditions can be a bit intense for me, although I always have my phone or distractions off and away from me during study times.  I was wondering if anyone has any helpful resources beyond reading and practice exams that could be helpful. I am retaking Section 3- Construction Docs and Administration this December.
Many thanks.

Hi Emma sorry to hear about the two fails. Have you been using LAREprep.com study guides + practice exams, as well as the CLARB practice exam? Those two resources have gotten me through sections 1-3 so far. Taking section 4 in December!

Hi Emma. Sorry to hear that! I've been in your shoes too and wasn't successful until recently. One of the things that helped me the most was the SGLA course - 'Be a Better Test Taker (for the LARE!). Sarah walked us through how to break down the questions and answers & selecting the most appropriate answer. Highly recommend. Best of luck!
