I just found out that CLARB is slowly starting to roll out Provisional Feedback in phases.  Basically when you finish the test at the testing center you'll receive a message saying 'based on your answers have more than likely passed'.  Check out link below for details and roll out schedule:

FINALLY! No more weeks of anxiety waiting for that email.

My anxiety has me imagining getting the "more than likely passed" message just to find out eight weeks later that I actually failed

I had the same thoughts.  It says it's an accurate assessment based on your answers, so its probably safe to say 'more than likely failed' is possible to reveal a 'pass' if they end up throwing out one or more questions that no one answered correctly.  Who knows how likely that is but that little message at the end may eliminate lots of anxiety during the waiting period.  I just finished up CD & A and P & D and wished I would have gotten that pop up!

I finished Site Inventory and Analysis with 45 minutes to spare, then used the rest of the time to do an overall review.... felt really good and confident. But then this "Provisional Feedback" said "likely failed" at the end, which is a real gut punch. Then, I checked out CLARB's FAQs on this new system they are implementing. None of it makes any sense to me... I mean, the system is an accurate "predictor" but then it's based on the "un"validated exam result..... what the heck? Spending loads of time studying and stressing for the exam, and in the end, CLARB decided to introduce a system that provides the exam result with a half-baked assessment. This system is supposed to improve our exam experience, not make it worse. I rather not see this "provisional feedback" and feel confident about it till they post the official grade.

I completely agree Daniel. CLARB emphasizes that the feedback is "not an official score, and is based on unvalidated exam results". This causes a lot more anxiety than needed, and I don't think helps with people having a hard time with the wait of hearing results. I think this will make a lot more upset test takers when their actual results are different than the provisional feedback. I think CLARB should either immediately give accurate results, or do not give any feedback until it is final.
