Remember Plants Names

Hi all, 

I am reading through Site Planning & Design Handbook , Thomas H.Russ. Do we need to remember all the Invasive plants , Trees that tolerate city conditions , Plants that tolerate road salt, plants for brownfield sites, etc..?

Please guide.

My recommendation would be that you do not need to know the names of any plant species for the LARE exam. General tree pathogens, diseases, deficiencies (e.g., chlorosis) has been known to appear. In my opinion, individual plant species on covered on the state licensure exams - not on the national LARE exams.
