Description

COMMUNITY GUIDELINES

1. No Spam. Excessive posting of self-promotional material, spam, or irrelevant content is prohibited.

2. Copyright Infringement. Users may not post or distribute files, articles or other information subject to trademark, copyright, or other proprietary rights, except with the express consent of the owner of the rights.

3. LARE Regulations. Users are prohibited from posting content that violates the confidentiality and use agreements found within the LARE exam. This includes, but is not limited to, duplicating questions found on the LARE after taking the exam. The Group Administrator will attempt to enforce this rule, but posts believed to be in violation of LARE regulations should follow the language found in “(8) Report Rule Violations” of these Community Guidelines.

4. Respectful communication. Members should engage in respectful and courteous communication at all times. Content promoting hate or discrimination is strictly prohibited, and discussions or content promoting illegal activities, including piracy, illicit drug use, or other unlawful conduct, are forbidden.

5. Privacy. Members must respect the privacy of others and not share personal information without consent. Individuals are allowed to post their email address (e.g., to gain access to a study group), but do so at their own discretion.

6. Content relevance. Posts and discussions should be relevant to the community’s purpose and topics. Discussion topics are not to be relied on as specific advice, and such responses are not intended to constitute practice guidelines or advice. Community participants must rely solely on their own judgment with respect to all issues discussed.

7. Non-Commercial Use. Users may not commercially market offerings for their own gain. Specifically, users are prohibited from posting commercial messages or promotions, advertising, or selling goods or services, as well as receiving compensation in any form for promoting the goods and services of companies and organizations. Users are permitted to organically discuss third-party resources within the Group, provided that such discussions are not exclusively or primarily used to promote online commercial services. Exceptions to this rule are limited to the sale of physical textbooks (i.e., no e-books, study notes or PDFs) by private individuals and posts pertaining to seasonal events such as in-person workshops and facilitator-led webinars, provided that such messaging is reasonably limited and respectful.

8. Report rule violations. Members should report any content or behavior that violates the community guidelines to the Group Administrator. Reports can be made under the “About” section of this Google Group.

9. Moderation Policy. This Google Group is a private, membership-based forum. The Group Administrator retains the right, at their sole discretion, to monitor posted information and remove messages or materials that they believe do not comply with the terms of these Community Guidelines.

10. Ban Evasion. Users that violate the Community Guidelines will be banned from this Google Group at the sole discretion of the Group Administrator. Do not evade permanent enforcement actions. This includes creating new or using existing accounts after being removed for violating these Community Guidelines.

11. Acceptance of Rules. By posting in this Google Group, you (i) represent and warrant that you have read these Rules; (ii) fully understand the terms of these Rules and acknowledge that you have had the opportunity to review these Rules; and (iii) agree to be bound by the terms of these Rules.
