Good news everyone. I just got a call from Jeremy Tolbert at the
University of Wyoming Credit Union. The UniWyo Credit Union has
agreed to sponsor the fall film series at the Wyo Theatre.

Jeremy is a member of the credit union's marketing committee which
decides what kinds of community activities the credit union should
sponsor. Jeremy is also a reader of this e-mail list, which is how he
found out about the need for a film series sponsor.

A check has been cut which I will be picking up shortly to take to the
bank. The Laramie Film Society will then write a check to Rocky
Mountain Resort Cinemas to support the film series.

Those of us who are members of UniWyo should personally thank the
credit union for rescuing the fall film series. Bear in mind that this
check is not a promise of annual support at this time. It is a one-time-
only sponsorship. If the credit union gets a lot of positive spin out of
this donation, however, it just might decide to support the film series
again in the future. We should work to make that happen.

Also bear in mind this does nothing to rescue the spring film series.
That is a separate problem. Anyway, the series is on for this fall.

Thanks, Jeremy and to everyone at UniWyo who helped to rescue the
film series.
