I got this email from a former Laramie resident and former colleague,
Andrew B. Scott, who is looking for help funding his post-graduate
student film project:
Hello:
You were kind enough to post a few of my reviews on your site four
years agao and lend your screeners that I might catch up on the Awards
Season that can often come so late to Laramie.
Anyway, I graduated from NYU's Film/TV program this May, and we're
currently in post on my thesis short film we shot in April. We've just
cut a trailer and launched our IndieGoGo, and I'd love for you to check
it out.
It's a post-heavy film given the fantastic nature of it, so I'm raising
funds to help pay for our animation, score, and sound design, as well as
fees associated with entering the film in festivals. Obviously please
don't feel compelled to contribute (I myself hate being asked for money,
as a rule), but if you could spread the word about our film to your
friends and family I'd be very grateful.
I've attached the links to our film below as well as a synopsis.
Thanks again for everything,
Andrew
