Greetings fellow film fans:

Two new movies open at Laramie theaters this week, the action sequel "Twisters" and the horror film "Oddity".

The highly regarded award-winning Japanese language film, "Perfect Days" is being released on DVD, Blu Ray and 4K media this week.

The best movies in town are "MaXXXine", "Longlegs", "Sound of Hope: The Story of Possum Trot", "A Quiet Place: Day One", "Inside Out 2", and "Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes".

There are a couple of low-cost movie series for kids this summer at local theaters. The Regal Fox Theater 6 currently has a Regal Summer Movie Express series for kids, with movies costing $2 each and the Studio City UW+ARQ® Theater, has a kids series that costs $10 for 10 movies.

A series of free family films will be shown outdoors in Undine Park this summer, sponsored by Aspen Family Chiropractic.
