Two new movies open at Laramie theaters this week, the action
sequel "Deadpool & Wolverine" and the comedy "The Fabulous
Four".
The best movies in town are "Twisters", "Longlegs", "A Quiet
Place: Day One", "Inside Out 2", and "Oddity".
There are a couple of low-cost movie series for kids this summer
at local theaters. The Regal Fox Theater 6 currently has a Regal
Summer Movie Express series for kids, with movies costing $2
each and the Studio City UW+ARQ® Theater, has a kids series that
costs $10 for 10 movies.
A series of free family films will be shown outdoors in Undine
Park this summer, sponsored by Aspen Family Chiropractic.

Two new movies open at Laramie theaters this week, the suspense
drama "Trap" and the fantasy "Harold and the Purple Crayon".
There were no early reviews on these two films, so I decided to
wait until today (Thursday, August 1) to write this email. Today
the first reviews were released on these two films, and, as I
feared, it doesn't look good, but to be fair, "Trap" is directed
by M. Night Shyamalan (best known for "The Sixth Sense") whose
movies are divisive, either loved or hated, with few in-between
opinions.

horror sequel "Alien: Romulus, the mystery thriller "Skincare"
and the family drama, "My Penguin Friend". There are no advance
reviews of any of these films, but most Hollywood films these
days fall into the categories of C and C+.
The best movies in town are "Deadpool & Wolverine" and
"Twisters".
The Studio City UW+ARQ® Theater has a kids series that costs $10
for 10 movies. The series ends this week with "The Garfield
Movie". The Regal Summer Movie Express series for kids has
ended.

Five new movies open this week at Laramie theaters, the comedy
documentary "Am I Racist?" the faith-based political drama,
"God's Not Dead: In God We Trust", the suspense thriller
"Speak No Evil", the action comedy "The Killer's Game" and the
faith-based drama "The Forge".
The best movies in town are "Alien: Romulus", "Blink Twice",
"Coraline", "Deadpool & Wolverine" and "Twisters".
The Albany County Public Library is looking for volunteers to
help with future film series at the library. If interested,
contact Shane Sims at the library at ss...@acplwy.org or
contact him at the film showing on August 18.
