Greetings fellow film fans:
 Two new movies will open this week in Laramie, including the biggest hit movie of 2025 you've probably never heard of: "Ne Zha II".  Also opening is the suspense movie "Relay".
 
 Made on a relatively small budget, the Chinese animated movie "Ne Zha II" has sold far more tickets than any other movie this year, raking in nearly $1.9 billion in worldwide movie ticket sales, but only a tiny fraction of that box office success has happened so far in the U.S. Ne Zha II traffics heavily in Chinese mysticism, and is loosely based on the novel "Investiture of the Gods".  The sequel, like the very successful ($723 million) 2019 movie "Ne Zha", was created by self-taught animator Yu Yang.

The best movies in town this week, are "The Bad Guys 2" "The Naked Gun", Weapons", "Together", "The Fantastic Four: First Steps" and "Superman" (2025).
