Greetings fellow film fans:
Three new movies are opening this week in Laramie. Opening
Thursday, December 19 are are the Disney remake "Mufasa: The
Lion King" and the action comedy sequel "Sonic the Hedgehog 3".
Opening Friday, December 20 is the Angel Studios dystopian
drama, "Homestead". Opening next week, on Christmas Day are the
much anticipated musical drama about Bob Dylan, "A Complete
Unknown" and the latest remake of "Nosferatu". The original
"Nosferatu", loosely based on Bram Stoker's "Dracula", was
released 102 years ago. Vampires really are eternal.
The best movies in town this week, are "Wicked" and "Gladiator
II". Sorry, I did not send out an email last week. I was out of
town.

Seasonal madness is upon us again. Studios tend to wait until
the end of the year to release their best films, and then they
release them all at once. These year end award hopefuls are
concentrated even more locally. Highly touted award hopefuls, "A
Complete Unknown", "Babygirl", "The Fire Inside" and "Nosferatu"
have already opened in Laramie this week due to the holiday
release schedule, joining some other award hopefuls that opened
earlier, "Wicked", "Gladiator II", "Moana 2", "Mufasa: The Lion
King". So many good movies, so little time to see them.
