Greetings fellow film fans:

There are some free movies this week, at The second annual Wild and Working Lands Film Festival, hosted by the Haub School of Environment and Natural Resources at the University of Wyoming. The two hour slate of short films begins at 7 p.m. on Thursday, April 6 at the Gryphon Theatre, 710 E Garfield St. The show consists of "nine short films that explore human relationships to the landscapes where we dwell, work, and play".

 

In and unexpected sneak attack this week under cover of a storm, local theaters got ahead of me by bringing in new films and discontinuing others a few days early, so "Air" and "The Super Mario Brothers Movie" are already here and "65" and "Creed III" are already gone.

Some good movies in town are "Air", "Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves", "John Wick: Chapter 4" and "Scream VI".
