Lynn has a company that will be doing our signs and banners for LAP.
What we need to do is decide what internal signs we will
need...different Team stations, signs for outside, etc. Last year we
drew a surprising amount of donated computers from people just
stopping to see what we were doing then going home and bringing their
unused computers to us. I think that a large sign for outside the
patio area might help us increase our donation intake. Sign design
and verbiage ideas are accepted here.

Is there a logo design for LAP? If not I could start with that while
ideas for the signage itself are brewing.

Cheers,

Alan.

Let me contact Lynn about an "official" logo for LAP.  He may have some specific ideas he needs implemented.  He's sleeping late today so I will run this by him and cc you on his reply.

Thanks a bunch Alan.

OK, here are some ideas for the sign(s) outside. We are dealing with
passing traffic so it has to be short so it can be read and digested
in a few seconds. Additional ideas welcome.

Of course, signs for the inside

Hello,

I would like to help out with the install team. I am an experienced
computer user, but fairly new to the *nix world. This seems like a
nice way to speed-learn and help out some kids at the same time.

Alan, yes...give it some thought and let's see what you come up with.

I re-colored the tux on the 4 station signs and uploaded them to the Files section as "teamxxxx2.png"
Any suggestions?

Is it just me or do the "highlight points" on tux look bad?  Probably picking nits here but it seems distracting to me.  I have uploaded a file called teamsalvage3 with those spots colored in.  Again, if this is being too anal, just disregard.
