All – I was thinking, - may be the English title of the book could be changed to “Heaven’s Earth”? Sounds a bit more dramatic and catchy. May be it is too late to do anything about it.

Hi all Lao Story Translation project members,

There is a question in my head "Do we have the ability and capability to publish and print hard copies of 'Land of Sky' book bilingual version ?????"
Nine (9) months ago Dao and Melody approached me if I would be interested in translating 'Land of Sky' story book, and if possible to publish and print hard copies of the book.
I jumped in immediately and help to get others involved, thus our current little group of people.
We have come a long way and is poised to complete the translation very shortly. Only 3 stories (out of 22) to go, and they are at the advanced 'bilingual layout' stage.
The next phase is "to publish and print hard copies of 'Land of Sky' book bilingual version".
The challenge here is funding, obviously.
We set our goal to print 1500 copies that will require approximately US$2500.

Bounthanh has approached Land Issue Working Group (LIWG, and NGO operating in Laos) and managed to get them to pledge US$1500.
So there is a shortfall of US$214.00
