Ugly text in Swing terminal (Windows)

I've just started playing with Lanterna, and notice that text in the Swing terminal looks really bad on my Windows laptop screen. I've attached a screenshot.

It looks better on another display, so I suspect the issue is needing to use fractional metrics and subpixel antialiasing (as discussed here: https://stackoverflow.com/questions/31536952/how-to-fix-text-quality-in-java-graphics). Is there a way to turn those on? Or some other way to fix this?
