1Mobile Market Lite is an alternative app market for Android thanks to which you can download more than a million and a half apps and games of all kinds. One tap and you can start downloading in a very similar way to Google Play or Aptoide.
The main problem with 1Mobile Market is that it has dozens and dozens of fake, fraudulent, or outright malicious apps, so you should keep your radar up when picking what you want to download. You can, for example, get the Snaptube app there, or one of a ton of fake apps that use its name.
Another problematic element of 1Mobile Market is that it requests an excessive number of permissions. And to top it all off, your device has to be rooted, otherwise you won't be able to automatically install the apps once you've downloaded them.

Google Play Store offers us over a million different apps, so you can imagine that under that huge amount there are quite a few hidden gems that Google's editors can't manage to see. Therefore, why not go for a second opinion such as 1Mobile?
And that's precisely what this store offers us: over 800,000 apps sorted into different categories and ready to be downloaded by any user. For such purpose, you only need to download and install its app, and it will start working just like Google's marketplace.
With regards to the applications and games, the contents can be explored by categories but also by taking a look at the selection curated by 1Mobile's editors. Nevertheless, there's also a section where you can check both locally and globally the most downloaded apps and the most noteworthy new applications.
And although you can use the app totally for free and download its contents without any trouble whatsoever, you can make the most of it if you sign up as a user. You only need an email address or a profile on Facebook, Twitter or Google+.

I have a kindle. I'm using it to answer it question right now:D.. Download the 1mobile market app from the Amazon Store then once it's downloaded open it up and download the Carnival Hub App from there. That's how I got mine and I use it everyday for my countdown. Good Luck.:D
I have an Amazon Fire Phone and I downloaded and installed the apk as i do many apps that aren't available on Amazon. I have tested it out at home - my questions is sometimes when you do this the android apps don't work right - so I wonder if the texting part will work as good as say the app for the iPhone? Does anyone know?
Got a new Kindle and of course I can't download 1mobile market anymore. Which apk file did you download? Do you still have the address? I tried to open a few apk files and am having problems. After I download an apk file, at the bottom of the screen that shows what the app might see, I can't click on next. I can only click cancel. I am allowing apps from Unkown Sources to be downloaded onto the kindle.
3. Cable your device (kindle fire/amazon fire phone etc to your computer making sure you are using a usb charger that allows for transferring files and doesn't just charge your device. I'm telling you this cause I had a cable I was using that only charged the phone and didn't understand why I couldn't find my phone on my computer! Very frustrating!
4. On your computer click on MY computer - find your device and click on it and you will see various folders - I added a folder and named it apk. Then you drag the apx from your computer to that file you created on your device.
As mentioned in my previous post sometimes android apps don't work correctly so even though I was able to click I'm onboard - I won't be able to check texting till I am onboard and pay the $5! By the way the above post looks much easier now that I've read it
Go to you tube and search for "adding google play to kindle fire" it provides instructions and I have been operating all Google android apps works and it works great and I have some apps linked to my phone. I like having both Amazon and Google app stores available. It is my opinion that some apps in Amazon are very lite versions of what is available in Google.
Thank you for the link. We have two Amazon Fire 7.0 and I was able to download the file to my computer and then drag-and-drop them into a folder I had made on the Fire (I named it APK). My charging cable worked just fine to link the computer and Fire together. I opened the folder on my Fire and clicked on the link. It seems to have downloaded correctly. I had to manually enter the sailing date for the app to show the days left. I am hopeful it will work glitch-free onboard as I really would rather leave the iPhone in the safe and just drag the Fire--which holds all my books--about. Once again, THANK YOU!

Google Play is the leader among digital distribution services thanks to 2.43 million apps and games available. The next one in line is Apple's App Store, with 4.83 million apps and games. So, if you're planning to make another app, then the choice to upload your app to Google Play and App Store seems obvious, right? Well, yes and no. There are some other app stores you might want to consider uploading your app to.
Further, developers have more chances to rank their apps higher on alternative stores since Google Play and App Store are overcrowded. Testing minimum viable product (MVP) apps in a free app store becomes another great opportunity for developers in comparison to Google Play, which charges a one-time registration fee of $25, and App Store, which charges a $99 annual developer fee.
Some third-party stores focus on a smaller selection of apps that have been filtered for quality, age group, or a specific purpose. For example, if you offer a localized app for specific countries, then alternative stores might be a more profitable choice for you.
Further, some app stores may also distribute illegal versions of third party apps and games, and some processes might turn out to be not so transparent. Even though it can be time-consuming, we suggest carefully reading the terms and conditions of any third-party app stores you consider using.
