Hi Guys,
Myself, Mick Quinn Jr and Nicky O’Connor are changing our role next year and want to set it out to both J2s and J3s ahead of the awards night on Saturday.
In order to maximise our resources at junior club level, we are happy to announce the new structure next seasons 3rd/3rd As:
Structure of the J2s/J3s for the Season 2011/2012
· J2s/J3s will train and be organised collectively and be known as The Junior Squad.
· Will Sparks and Mick Quinn jr will be Junior Squad Coordinators
· The 3rds will be managed by Will Sparks with Coaches; Michael Quinn Jr and Nicky O’Connor
· The 3rd As will be managed by Ed Lyons with Coaches; Gav Lee, Bobby Geraghty and Gary Notley
· Training night 1- squad train together under Qdog
· Selection for the weekends fixtures will be made after training night 1
· Training night 2- teams split after initial drills and warm up/tipper
· The emphasis is on banter with hard work. Training session will be short, sharp and enjoyable. By training hard for an hour or so, we will achieve excellence with both teams.
· Friday will be 3rd As game, Sat will be 3rds game (there will be an effort to ensure that 3rds games are at lunchtime to encourage support for the 1sts)
· Both teams will be run with structure, professionalism and dedication. Training both nights is a must. For those that cannot commit, the revamped 3rd Bs will be there.
· Our nights out on the piss will be good.
This squad system will allow for better circulation, competition and socializing amongst the junior teams and will ensure that a) both teams are competitive and achieve b) the 3rd As maintain their stature and are not seen as a second best. It also should be noted that we do not plan on pillaging the 3rdAs of the best players- selection will on a performance basis. We would like to dispel and disregard any suggestions too that “the 3rdAs are taking over the 3rds etc.” This is not the case at all. The 3rds are an incredibly strong team (thanks to Flanno, Quigs and Beamer) and have been unlucky not to win anything over the last couple of years. It will be an open squad and selected on that merit. In August/September we will have two blank team sheets and a squad to fill them. We also need to recruit players so have a think of mates that would fit the mould.
You will obviously be familiar with Gav and Gary but for those not familiar with Bobby Geraghty; Bobby has played AIL for the first for many years and has played in many junior teams winning loads of medals. He has a wealth of experience and will add a lot to the setup. He also has ginger hair.
We want to bring silverware to both teams and believe this is the best medium to do so.
We would appreciate your support, dedication and input. If anyone has any suggestions, please feel free to contact myself or Michael.
We hope to see everyone at the club BBQ/awards night and can answer any questions then.
Cheers,
Will & Qdog

Thirds are in the A section. We hope to have it on Tues and Weds depending on pitch availability and your ex-club wankers; the Chaps… Will be boxed off closer to Aug/September.

Gents,
We are actively looking for businesses to sponsor our Junior teams to pay for jerseys, gear, and medical equipment. As per the pdf attached, this can be a good source of publicity.
We would ask that you guys have a think about presenting the attached to your employers, fathers and friends. These are your teams and the more sponsors we get, the more we can actively do (and look like a French club jersey). Please help your club and teams in a worthwhile exercise.
Please circulate this to anyone that isn’t on this list.
Any questions let me know,
Thanks,
Will

Very sexist email Sparks!!
Is it beyond your imagination that some mothers may be in a position to provide sponsorship???

If Fresh's mum was allowed advertise for the services she provides I bet she'd like nothing more than to sponsor a bunch of lads.

Lads,
David Toomey is Fitness and Conditioning coach for the firsts next year and has just returned from a IRFU course on Conditioning and African American Studies. As part of this he is conducting an open session for the next two weeks or so on Thursday at 6.30 in HQ and all are welcome.
There is a very exciting Modified Strongman Training program starting in a couple of weeks with club resident musclefreak Paul O’Brien. More details over the next few days.
Any Questions, Let me know.
Cheers,
