At 9:00 a.m. this Friday morning in the State Senate Chamber at the Capitol, Sen. John Horhn and others will present Mrs. Evers with a Legislative Resolution declaring June 12, 2013 to be an International Day of Remembrance commemorating the 50th Anniversary of the assassination of Medgar Evers and paying tribute to his life and legacy.  A copy of the Resolution is attached.  Would be great if Mrs. Evers looked up in the Senate gallery and saw a sea of familiar faces and supporters.  The presentation will take place immediately after the Senate convenes at 9.  Please feel free to share this email and event with others.  Thanks.
