Details of our integration with Rosetta are outlined below, configuration or environment specific details used in the implementation of this model at the Library have not been included.

1. Identify the server to install and setup the wowza server. This does not necessarily need to be on the Rosetta servers. It can be a standalone independent server that is allowed to connect to the Rosetta storage areas. Download, install and configure Wowza Streaming Engine Server. Follow the wowza installation guide for details.

As indicated in the sample Application.xml in bold, the is the location to the content area which hould be a mapping or mounting to the Rosetta operational storage area. The other customization is for the base module and the mediaaccess module:

6. Compile and build the custom classes mentioned above as a jar file along with the DeliveryAccessWebServices jar file and add them to the wowza lib/ folder so that it is available to the Wowza Streaming Engine Server.

7. Deploy the streaming_media_viewer which is a Rosetta viewer deployed within the Rosetta Delivery Servers to handle the delivery request and this viewer should include JWPlayer files which will be provided to the users upon request for the media files.
