At Mahurangi College our two international Langauges are Japanese
and Spanish. we usually work together to do something for ILW. Each
day on the back of the daily notices we will have a quiz - one day
will be related to Japanese, one to Spanish, one will have something
to do with all the different languages / countries our international
students are from etc. Each whanau class (vertical form class) is
encouraged to participate and prizes (a bag of lollies) are given to
the winning class each day. (last year our students made ILW badges
and sold them and international movies were shown at lunchtimes).
Still working on other ideas.
