to International Languages Week New Zealand (16 - 22 August 2009)
Asia New Zealand Foundation is running a Lantern Making competition
for schools in Auckland and Christchurch to coincide with our Lantern
Festivals in February and March 2010 and we would like to encourage
primary and secondary schools in Auckland and Christchurch to take
part.
As well as prizes for schools, $1200 worth of books in total, and a
display of the best lanterns at the festival, it is a great
opportunity for children to learn about a festival from another
culture. More details (and resources to help make lanterns) can be
