missing lift-ranges?

I just tried importing a whole repository, and I had a couple of issues:
1. I was given the option of viewing "non-critical errors", I think it was, where it complained about not having a lift-ranges file. This info, as I understand what it's asking for, is contained in my lift file; has there been a change in the LIFT specification? If so, lf.org may not be aware that it is importing an older versioned LIFT file.
2. somehow I clicked on the main page, and completely lost the errors page. I didn't get to look at the rest of them, so I don't know what other issues there might have been.
