Hello -

Come join the group this Friday evening, March 5th, for a 23km organized bike ride through Paris! The ride takes about 2.5 hours. There are all levels of bikers who do this trip, so it's OK if you are not Lance Armstrong!

You've heard about these rides! Now it's time to join the fun! The weather is good!

This link gives you all the information you need for the ride: http://www.parisrandovelo.com/index.php?page=parcours.php
It's free and you don't need to register. Just show up!

Lets all meet with our bikes near the carousel at the Hotel de Ville at 22:20pm. The ride starts at 22:30pm.

The attached document and website give you itinerary information. This will be fun!

The last club outing took us around Saint-Germain-des-Prés to historic churches, shops and a cool bar! It was a fun afternoon.

Please RSVP to let us know that you're coming. I'm attaching my photo so you can find me there.

Elizabeth

Hey there,

Something that might be interesting:

For the ones who enjoy/can play FRISBEE. There is a group I joind a year ago, named Ultimate Frisbee - the team version of throwing the disc. It is played in 2 teams (check it on Youtube, there are some great (hmm frighteningly speedy) videos).
Anyways, I'm not very good at it - very bad indeed! because it also requires a lottts of running blabla, stamina, which I don't have. BUT. And it was toooo cold the previous months, but tomorrow I might convince myself...
It is a French-speaking-based but English friendly group, with very very nice people.
The game starts at 2pm tomorrow at the Cité Universitaire (RER B Cité U, M 4 Porte d'Orleans, tram 3 Cité U etc.), on the huge field just behind of the main building/library (if you wanna ask someone).

I will be there (80%), and as the players change very often, you should't be afraid of "being the outcast".

Oh, I didn't put this on the wall to creat a "new" group event, but rather if individuals are interested (here you can practice both English and French, mainly natives are here, and sport of course:p).

Anyways, have a good WE everyone,
H.

I was out of town but would like to go to the next game if you and anyone on the list is interested.

Thanks! Elizabeth

Sure, usually I WANT but I am too lazy....but I start to run out of excuses as the weather is getting amazingly springy :)))
They play usually on Sundays, so maybe this Sunday (from 2pm).

And when are we going to grab a drink?

H.
