Course packages that don't run with newest version of R

Hello,

There seem to be three packages that don't run on the newest version of R (4.5.2):

SoDA

EcoGenetics

Sunder

I can use an older version of R, but I figured I'd post this here to see if there are any updates coming.

Thanks for your message. We are aware of this, and have been working on a solution. Please continue to update us on any issues you've found. Also, could you report the operating system that you're using? And do you have issues with installing the LandGenCourse package beside the dependency package problem you mentioned?

Thanks for the update. I haven't had any other issues. 

For reference, I'm using a Mac with Tahoe 26.2, as of today. 

I have been trying to download the packages on the version before 26.2. I just updated the mac OS today, and the packages still don't work.

Thanks. The SoDA and Sunder packages are deprecated and not needed for our labs. We’ve been cleaning up the script to eliminate warnings, but it looks like a few legacy references were still hanging around. We did some additional cleanup today. Please try again and let us know if you run into any issues.

One remaining item is the EcoGenetics package. That issue needs to be fixed by the package developer, so it isn’t something we can fully resolve on our end right now. We’ve been in contact with the developer and are hopeful it will be addressed soon. In the meantime, we won’t be using EcoGenetics until at least Week 5.

Update:

The EcoGenetics package has been updated, and I have tested it and it seems to be working now. Please try installing it with the following codes and report any issues:
