How to Search Deeds:

This is an example of how to search for Probate Deeds but you can do the same for any type or time frame.

To analyze Probate Deeds for likely commercial properties while in the Map, use the Task Menu, then look for Search Parcels Data followed by the Deeds Data search menu (as opposed to the Search > Deeds menu). This sub-menu provides a joined result to the parcels data itself for improved insight on the data.

Once pulled up, search Type for “Probate Deed”. You can also include a date parameter to better filter your search:

Perform the Search and notice that the results show Deed information joined to the Parcels data. From here, I would sort by Property Code by clicking on that column title, then look for anything with a "C" code, which Ada County uses to distinguish parcels with a commercial structure. Highlight relevant rows:

With desired rows highlighted, scroll to the bottom and click Select and Zoom:

Return to the map and click on the Reports > Parcels to investigate these parcels in greater detail or export your list to Excel.
