Move Data Point

Many of our Records of Survey are approximated using Township and Section information. But as a Trusted Contributor, you can use the Move Data Point to adjust these data points to match the actual survey location.

To use, select one and only one Record of Survey point on the map. While keeping your point selected, pan, zoom, or use the Address Search to navigate to where this point should be moved.

When you have found the proper location, right-click and activate Move Data Point.

Click on the map to choose a new location, then click “Update Point” on the Task Pane form to submit:
