Add Company Project
Create a Company Project out of a Parcel, Development, Subdivision, or by drawing a polygon:
For this walk through we will create a My Company Project by copying the geometry of Greendale Subdivision.
Navigate to the Task List and select Add Company Project
Once you have clicked Submit on your Company Project entry, you will be met with a popup that requests the following additional information:
Type: Any value for the type of project you are tracking.
Status: Active or Inactive. Note, only Active projects appear on your Dashboard Tile.
Custom Field 1 & 2: Enter any other keywords for additional sorting/searching..
URL: Link to external resource, such as an HOA website.
Now that you have added your Company Project you can find the project available on the Dashboard under My Company Projects:
From the Dashboard you can view or modify your Company Projects:
By clicking the plus icon on the left, you will notice the project details expand with recent events and associated data such as Developments, Records of Survey, and Corner Records.
By clicking the icons in the middle you will have access to the Map, Project Data Report, and the ability to Post Public News or Private News related to your project.
On the data report page, click on the Edit Data icon to modify the feature data.
Lastly, you can post new items as Public News or Private News by clicking on the flag icon for your Company Project.
You have the ability to choose what type of News, corresponding date, subject, description/message, custom URL, and attachments such as pictures, documents, or PDFs. At the bottom of the News form you will notice you can now set other users to be notified about the post. Type in the name of a person or entity to tag them in your Public News or Private News. Note, the same options are available when posting Private News.
Example: Suppose you want to publicly share some documents with colleagues. This is a great option that will allow you to publicly place documents directly on the map for others to view. See below for example.
