Zephyr Farm, a small vegetable and layer operation, in Cranston, RI
is
seeking an Assistant Manager for 2012 season to begin in March and
run
through Thanksgiving with potential to become year-round. Seeking a
hardworking, fast, detail-oriented individual with at least 3yrs
experience farming. Looking for someone who wants to run their own
operation some day. This is a position that will carry a lot of
responsibility including overseeing greenhouse operation, running
crew, running harvest days, selling at markets, etc. Must be a self-
starter with reliable transportation. Zephyr Farm will be expanding
its operation in 2012, so it will be a good opportunity for someone
who is looking to learn how to start an operation on new land.
