2 positions available immediately. Prior experience with organic/
biodynamic agriculture a plus, but no experience necessary as we will
teach you. River Valley Farm is located in Lenox, MA. We grow 4 acres
of vegetables; keep purebred and commercial sheep flocks, layer hens,
pigs and bees. You will learn all aspects of vegetable growing,
tending and harvesting and livestock handling, care and the fiber
arts. Compensation is $500 per month plus room and board, discount on
all farm products and all the vegetables you can eat that we produce.

Lisa,
My boyfriend Richard and I are very interested in working on your farm
beginning this September.
I realize your need is more immediate, but this is what our current
schedule allows. However, we would be able to come for a visit sooner
than September to meet with you.
Otherwise, if you still need helping hands this Fall please keep in
contact with us.
We both have horticulture and landscape design experience, as well as
landscaping and maintenance experience requiring physical labor.
Growing/harvesting food and handling livestock is a new endeavor for
us, but we are seriously interested in pursuing the experience and
knowledge.
