indoor farm seeks a head packer

microgreen head packer (Exeter, RI)

We are an indoor year round microgreen farm seeking to hire a head packer. This job entails having very sensitive fingers and pride in your work, in relation to quality and efficiency. This person should be willing to make decisions about what to mix and what to give if we are short.. Hours are most often in the afternoon (starting at 3pm) until the job of packing is finished in the evening, sometimes as late as 11pm. Packing takes place in a cold room, which is kept between 45 and 50 degrees. While training, the job will be on Monday, Wed, Thurs, and Sunday from 3-11. Once fully trained it will become full-time, with the potential for health insurance after 6 months. We are off the main road, so it is necessary to have transportation.
