Free online workshop for Magic Harvest is now available !

Hello all ! 

After several colleagues asked me about the Magic Harvest extension I made, we did a workshop at the University of Toronto to teach new users to get in touch with it.

The workshop was a great success, and I decide to put all of the content online for anybody who might want it !

In short : Magic Harvest is a companion extension to Biomass Harvest. It allows you to run an external command/script before Biomass Harvest, and then force Biomass Harvest to re-loads its parameters. In essence, this gives you complete control over harvesting in LANDIS-II. You can do any kind of complex forest management you want, and even use external programs (e.g. Woodstock) to do management decisions at each timestep.

The workshop shows you how to do this in a lot of details, and even provides a Python Script template to use with Magic Harvest where most of the work is already done for you.
