Dear LANDIS model developer,
I am a student from the University of Michigan, and tried to set up the LANDIS model on the Linux server. I have question related to the .sif file, which is not able to run in our linux server. The .sif file shows me that there is no runscript, so I am not able to run the built runscript.
I am able to run the model in the sandbox environment in my personal computer. (By the way, in our linux server, there is no apptainer, so we use singularity replace the apptainer). Could you please gives me some hint to solve this problem?
Sincerely,
Kai Sheng

Hello, Kai ! My name is Clement, and I've made the Apptainer for LANDIS-II linux on Github.

I'll be happy to help if I can.

For Singularity : Apptainer is simply the program Singularity that has been renamed "Apptainer" more recently. So if you have Singularity on your linux server, if might be the same program but in an older version.

As for not being able to run the build runscript, I'll need a bit more information on that. What do you mean by runscript ? Can you write down the command(s) that you've been using, and copy/paste the error that you're getting from them ?

Hi Clement,
The command that I tried to run is "exec ../ubuntuLANDIS.sif dotnet /bin/LANDIS_Linux/build/Release/Landis.Console.dll scenario.txt"
And the output is "There is no runscript defined for this container." I tried a lot of ways to add the ranscript to the model, but the output is always "There is no runscript defined for this container." We tried to run the example model that was provided to us with the same command, it is completely runnable. Therefore, I am not sure which steps make my model unrunnable.
