A good New Year to all!

I have an A1800 ute, manual, Mark 2.

My wipers are not self parking like they were originally.

Your ideas to fix this problem greatly appreciated.

Hi Peter,

You've sent this message to the old Landcrab Forum which is no longer in
use, I've copied my reply to the new forum as well.

With regards your wiper problem the fault could be in one of 3 places.

1- the electric motor itself
2- the wiper switch on the dashboard
3- the wiring

I would start with a multimeter and check where the wires connect to the
wiper motor to make sure all the appropriate wires have power,
especially the self park wire when the dashboard switch is in the OFF
position. Having done that you'll then know whether the fault is in the
motor or elsewhere.

If you don't have a multimeter you could just as easily get by with a 12
volt bulb with a couple of leads on it. If the bulb lights you know
you've got power.
