Added on December 16th, 2022, "Pirate Cats vs Queen Mela" is considered a classic map because it doesn't use energy, like challenge maps do. However, the format is far from classic; in fact, it would be more accurate to call it a "campaign" than a map. There are 30 levels in total. Each level has 5 waves, excluding levels 10, 20 and 30 which each have 30 waves. The enemies are unique to the map, and are aquatically themed. These enemies drop a new currency: Fish Coins. Fish Coins are used to upgrade the new Pirate Cat monsters, which are unlocked by playing through the campaign, as well as the Mythical Monsters that were added alongside them. Players start the campaign by paying 1,000 gold to repair Captain O'Hair's ship, recruiting him in the process. Every 5 levels the player clears, they unlock a reward that can be claimed in the campaign map.

A tale among the Einherjar speak of a well-traveled Viking aboard a longship. Amidst the silence of the crew and the crashing of the waves, she broke out into a catchy tune. None had heard its kind before, but they couldn't help themselves from singing along. Asking where she heard such a thing, she glanced at her belongings, including this exotic Gear, and showed them a map that would change their lives forever.

The Pirate Set is a Cosmetic set in Tribes of Midgard. It is available to be purchased in the in-game Shop either piece by piece (prices listed under picture) or in a bundle for 2,040 Platinum Coins.

The bundle consists of all the regular Golden Nile Set ship cosmetics. All the items in the Bundle can be purchased individually. Their individual prices together amount to 3,292 Ancient Coins. Therefore, the whole Bundle will save the player around 800 Ancient Coins.

A collection of 63 pirates motion capture animations (Body + Fingers) ready for Unreal Engine (UE5 Skeletons, Loops, RootMotion/InPlace). All animations have been recorded and polished for use in cinematics (NOT intended for state machines), although there are many with loop and rootmotion.

Gritty urban fantasy adventure set in an alternate noir 1930s, Book Three in the Grimnoir chronicles.

Only a handful of people in the world know that mankind's magic comes from a living creature, and it is a refugee from another universe. The Power showed up here in the 1850s because it was running from something. Now it is 1933, and the Power's hiding place has been discovered by a killer.

It is a predator that eats magic and leaves destroyed worlds in its wake. Earth is next.

Former private eye, Jake Sullivan, knows the score. The problem is hardly anyone believes him. The world's most capable Active, Faye Vierra, could back him up, but she is hiding from the forces that think she is too dangerous to let live. So Jake has put together a ragtag crew of airship pirates and Grimnoir knights, and set out on a suicide mission to stop the predator before it is too late.

Yo ho ho! Gather round all ye seadogs and scallywags, this old salt has a tale about a hoard of sugary booty! T'was All Hallow's Eve, 1992. I was still but a landlubber, adorned in a pirate costume of plastic so unforgiving it would have made anyone hang the jib. I plundered candy from the shores of a housing division subdivided, partaking in my loot as I went as if it were grog from a wench's bosom. Three sheets to the wind on Goobers and GoGurt, a foul brew blasted from my mouth, drenching my attire. Thar she blows! A kraken's length from home, I had to make the return voyage smelling like the shitter in Davy Jones' Locker. To this day, I cannot cast me eyes upon a box of Goobers without me stomach rolling like a stormy sea.

Do you remember the pirate craze of the ’90s? Portland, Oregon had pirate bars and vegan pirate cafes and even a pirate strip club. Eye patches galore. And people lived a pirate lifestyle like they might’ve been Mods in the ’60s or Beats in the ’50s. And best (worst) of all was the “Argh, maties!” pirate-speak that anyone could lapse into at any time. “Shiver me timbers.” That stuff. “Me thinks this ‘uns too good to speak the pirate lingo, no? He sleeps tonight in the briney deep!” And if you didn’t wear a fake parrot on your shoulder, you just didn’t rate.12

Shame of shames, at Freightliner I had a coworker who was a bit of a stick. Rick, poor Rick. So to torment Rick we’d, the rest of us, declare a “Pirate-Speak Day,” and all sling pirate talk all day and “Blow the man down” slang and sing sea chanteys until Rick looked ready to walk the plank. Then we’d sing Landlord Fill the Flowing Bowl and clink pretend tankards of ale. Rick really hated pirates.

The Tyrrhenian sea is just one version of a paradise that I know. Its colors change all the time—from high on a cliff, it’s a deep sapphire; from low on the beach, a pale jade-green. This sea is just a small part of the larger Mediterranean, but its mystique runs deep—legend has it that, not so long ago, pirates roamed its waves and sirens lurked within its coves. This sea is the heartbeat of the Amalfi Coast.

The ocean also had its mysteries, the effect of which was aided by thedim twilight, through[Pg 23] which it was imperfectly seen for more than halfthe year. Its bottomless depths and secret caves contained, according tothe account of Sweyn and others, skilled in legendary lore, such wondersas modern navigators reject with disdain. In the quiet moonlight bay, where the waves came rippling to the shore, upon a bed of smooth sandintermingled with shells, the mermaid was still seen to glide along thewaters, and, mingling her voice with the sighing breeze, was often heardto sing of subterranean wonders, or to chant prophecies of futureevents. The kraken, that hugest of living things, was still supposed tocumber the recesses of the Northern Ocean; and often, when some fog-bankcovered the sea at a distance, the eye of the experienced boatman sawthe horns of the monstrous leviathan welking and waving amidst thewreaths of mist, and bore away with all press of oar and sail, lest thesudden suction, occasioned by the sinking of the monstrous mass to thebottom, should drag within the grasp of its multifarious feelers his ownfrail skiff. The sea-snake was also known, which, arising out of thedepths of ocean, stretches to the skies his enormous neck, covered witha mane like that of a war-horse, and with its broad glittering eyes, raised mast-head high, looks out, as it seems, for plunder or forvictims.

The signs of the tempest did not dishonour the predictions of Minna.Mordaunt had not advanced three hours on his journey, before the wind, which had been so deadly still in the morning, began at first to wailand sigh, as if bemoaning beforehand the evils which it might perpetratein its fury, like a madman in the gloomy state of dejection whichprecedes his fit of violence; then gradually increasing, the galehowled, raged, and roared, with the full fury of a northern storm. Itwas accompanied by showers of rain mixed with hail, that dashed with themost unrelenting rage against the hills and rocks with which thetraveller was surrounded, distracting his attention, in spite of hisutmost exertions, and[Pg 41] rendering it very difficult for him to keep thedirection of his journey in a country where there is neither road, noreven the slightest track to direct the steps of the wanderer, and wherehe is often interrupted by brooks as well as large pools of water, lakes, and lagoons. All these inland waters were now lashed into sheetsof tumbling foam, much of which, carried off by the fury of thewhirlwind, was mingled with the gale, and transported far from the wavesof which it had lately made a part; while the salt relish of the driftwhich was pelted against his face, showed Mordaunt that the spray of themore distant ocean, disturbed to frenzy by the storm, was mingled withthat of the inland lakes and streams.

When the vessel split and went to pieces, all was swallowed up in theocean, which had, after the first shock, been seen to float upon thewaves, excepting only a few pieces of wreck, casks, chests, and thelike, which a strong eddy, formed by the reflux of the waves, hadlanded, or at least grounded, upon the shallow where Mordaunt now stood.Amongst these, his eager eye discovered the object that had at firstengaged his attention, and which now, seen at nigher distance, proved tobe in truth a man, and in a most precarious state. His arms were stillwrapt with a close and convulsive grasp round the plank to which he hadclung in the moment of the shock, but sense and the power of motion werefled; and, from the situation in which the plank lay, partly groundedupon the beach, partly floating in the sea, there was every chance thatit might be again washed off shore, in which case death was inevitable.Just as he had made himself aware of these circumstances, Mordauntbeheld a huge wave advancing, and hastened to interpose his aid ere itburst, aware that the reflux might probably sweep away the sufferer.

It was late in the day ere old Swertha returned from her expedition, heartily fatigued, and bearing with her a bundle of some bulk, containing, it would seem, her share of the spoil. Mordaunt instantlysought her out, to charge her with the deceits she had practised on bothhis father and himself; but the accused matron lacked not her reply.

Mordaunt did not hesitate instantly to follow his mysterious guide, forsuch we may term the masquer, as she paused to let him see the directionshe was about to take, and then walked swiftly towards the shore of thevoe, or salt-water lake, now lying full before them, its smallsummer-waves glistening and rippling under the influence of a broadmoonlight, which, added to the strong twilight of those regions duringthe summer solstice, left no reason to regret the absence of the sun,the path of whose setting was still visible on the waves of the west, while the horizon on the east side was already beginning to glimmer withthe lights of dawn.
