Stocks Reservoir Circuit (Approximately 9.5 miles with 1200 feet of ascent)
Sorry nowhere to meet for coffee this week so bring your own. Meet on the causeway at Stocks Reservoir at 10.30am to start the walk. BB7 4TS is the postcode for the Gisburn Forest Hub. Don’t take the track to the Hub, but follow the road round past the chapel to the causeway. The walk can be shortened by taking the path from New House to cross the river. Après walk drinks will be at the Spread Eagle at Sawley (BB7 4NH).

River Lowther and Arthur’s Pike (Approximately 12 miles with 1400 feet of ascent)
Meet at Lowther Castle Cafe (CA10 2HH) at 10:00am for coffee or at 10.30am to start the walk. Plenty of free parking available. Depending on the weather there are options to continue to Loadpot Hill and also can be shortend at virtually any point if needed. We will finish at Lowther Castle so can use cafe again or adjourn to Punchbowl pub at Askham. There’s also an option for Shap Chippy on the way home for anyone interested.
