Broad-bodied Chasers emerging

After not having any weather to go out looking for the last 12 days, I ventured forth in the hope of sunshine this afternoon.
Hurst Grange Park yielded nothing other than a damselfly exuvia. I didn't have my hand lens with me, and by the time I got it home, it was too damaged to confirm my suspicions as to its identity.

On to Priory Meadow, and by the time I got there the sun started to peep out. No sign of any Azure Damselflies yet (!), but Broad-bodied Chasers were emerging (1 of each sex and 5 exuviae).

I saw 4 Large Red Damselfly at Lomeshaye Marsh,Brierfield on May 14th and there have been lots at Brockholes seen by other observers.
