Greetings:

Even with the recent rains, the ground has dried up enough that if we were ready, we could invite the big high-hoe digger in to create the swimming pond and toboggan run.  (The latter with the ground dug for the former.)

If you are near by and willing, please consider visiting to help with preparing the site for a few hours or a day or two.  We have a couple of days that we will be away, but otherwise, almost any time is good.

Please let me know at:  sust...@web.ca

With any luck, next year, there will be cool water to jump into when the days get hot.  The toboggan / ski run could be ready after the first solid freeze and snow this Winter.

Best wishes for now,

Yours, Mike N. & Claire.

Legitimacy:

Air, Water, Soil and Energy are essential to all life.

"To call these things sacred is to say that they have a value beyond their usefulness for human ends, that they themselves become the standards by which our acts, our economics, our laws, and our purpose must be judged.  No one has the right to appropriate them or profit from them at the expense of others.  Any government that fails to protect them forfeits its legitimacy."

Starhawk; from "The Fifth Sacred Thing.”
