Greetings:
It has been a very busy Spring and Summer, but we have finally pinned down a date for an Open House.
Mark this on your calendar:
August 29th
3:00 Arrivals & informal getting to know each other.
4:00 Walk About tour of our domestic ecosystem.
5:00 Talking/Listening circle where everyone can share their thoughts, dreams and concerns about community, living with the land, the world today, and the future.
Followed around 6:30 with a POT LUCK supper.
Come for the entire time, or for whatever parts interest you.
Bring good shoes, some food to share, and your hopes and dreams. You may want to bring bug spray.
Ask us for directions. We look forward to seeing you.
Best wishes,
Mike & Claire
This place is in a forest where vast number of things are alive and growing. The (AI)
Animate Intelligence behind it all draws us to feel kinship with the natural world.

"In a cold climate, if a home was built without a heating system, it would be seen as incomplete. As transport fuels become impractical, a home built without a food supply will be considered incomplete. Such domestic ecosystems can be built for individual homes, for villages, or perhaps even cities. All would benefit from secure local food production."
