Summer Kitchen concert with Peter Brown,
Sunday, September 6th, 2:00 pm.
Greetings:
It has been too long. Covid has made Open Houses problimatic, like so much else.
There has been progress here, much around getting our Band-Saw Mill running:
The garden, as usual, is booming. Vegetables and weeds are all responding to the abundant rain.
Summer Kitchen Concert
Peter Brown is a world class Jazz musician.
We are fortunate to have him as a friend and neighbour in Lanark Village.
On Sunday, Sept. 6th, starting at 2:00 pm Peter will be playing our first concert in the Summer Kitchen. A hat will be passed at the event as opportunities to perform have been hard hit by the pandemic.
Observing social distancing we can accommodate 20 people under the roof. More if people come with others who share isolation bubbles. And more still if the weather is good and the roof isn’t essential.
Chairs:
We have many, but just in case, if you have easily moved chairs, please bring them along.
And you might want to bring bug spray. The mosquitoes are mostly gone, but some still lurk looking for a meal.
