How it works

We created a public discussion group to help foster creative ideas surrounding the Lanark Ecovillage project.  The intention is to allow anyone interested to share ideas via email (or through the web interface linked below) and once an idea is debated enough, those gems will be incorporated into the official plans for the project.

It will also become the primary means of communication for the group for announcements and event planning, for example.

Using the Lanark Eco-Village discussion group:

You can send a message to the group by emailing:
lanarkec...@googlegroups.com
If you reply to a message sent to the group, your response will also go to the entire group.

You don't need a Google Account (or Gmail) to do the following:
- send and receive emails to/from the group
- read messages using the web interface

With a Google account you can use an "enhanced" web interface to interact with the group: http://groups.google.com/group/lanarkecovillage

Here you can set your email preferences under the "My Membership" link.  If you find you are receiving too many emails from the group you may choose the "abridged" or "digest" email options.
