Easy Peach Cobbler is made with only four ingredients. This is the summer dessert you need to make! Sweet peaches with a crunchy topping. This will become your favorite peach recipe any time of year. Serve with a scoop of ice cream.
This recipe produced a dry cobbler when I used fresh peaches, sliced and refrigerated with sugar for 3 hours, as suggested. It might be better with canned fruit, or maybe I should have cooked the peaches in advance?
I doubled the recipe, and it worked. The cobbler has a good flavor, but it was too buttery for my taste. Next time I will reduce the amount of butter. Also, I noticed that it stuck a little to the baking dish. Maybe greasing the dish would help.
A favorite recipe!!!! I cooked the recipe with fresh peaches as stated and all the tips were so helpful. I kept half of the juice back to get the prefect texture in the cobbler. The recipients oohed and aahed over the cobbler as the best they had ever had. I cooked it half way in the toaster oven, went out to dinner and cooked it the other half when we got back home. Served it in a sundae cup with a spoonful of Häagen-Dazs ice vanilla bean ice cream. The hot with the cold was unbelievably delicious!!!!!!
This turned out amazing with fresh picked blackberries added. Also, I never peel the peaches and it always tastes delish regardless. Per the recipes tips: I used only half the amount of sugar and it was just perfect served with fresh whipped cream. Yummy!
Cowboy Chicken, located in Shafer Plaza At Mustang Creek, is the only Cowboy Chicken location with a drive-thru, offering convenience and fast service to guests in Forney, Texas. This feature sets Cowboy Chicken Forney apart from all other locations, and to entice guests through the end of summer, the popular wood-fired rotisserie chicken restaurant is offering a complimentary individual peach cobbler with every order placed at the drive-thru.
Peach cobbler is a dessert of LEGEND in my family. Growing up, my Grammy made homemade peach cobbler every summer (which inspired my classic Easy Peach Cobbler). We loved it so much that my sister started requesting it for her birthday instead of cake.
For the gift that keeps on giving, guests purchasing $50 in gift cards will receive a $10 bonus. Cowboy Chicken is closed on Thanksgiving and Christmas Day, but patrons are welcome to order meals early for stress-free celebrations. Orders can be placed online at www.cowboychicken.com or by calling a local Cowboy Chicken location.
As for the rest, the chicken, ham and links are pretty good, and everything comes with buttered, toasted buns and the usual choice of beans (non-sweet), potato salad and coleslaw. The coleslaw is remarkably fresh-tasting. The only dessert is a cinnamony peach cobbler, which comes hot in a foam cup. Sandwiches are $2.30-$3.00, plates $4-$6.49, side orders of meat $3.95 (half chicken) to $12.75 (13-rib pork slab). Peach cobbler is $1.50.
