Job Title:  Python Developer

Location: Atlanta, GA /Virginia  (Onsite)

Type: Contract

 

Client : IBM ( End client is in Health Insurance)

Must have Python, NodeJS, TypeScript, SQL, Snowflake, GCP, Kafka and Healthcare Domain

OPT will work

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using Python.
• Develop APIs and microservices leveraging Node.js and TypeScript.
• Write optimized SQL queries and integrate with Snowflake and other database systems.
• Work with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) for deploying and managing services.
• Implement real-time data streaming solutions using Kafka.
• Collaborate with DevOps teams to automate deployment pipelines and CI/CD processes.
• Troubleshoot and optimize performance for complex systems.
• Work closely with business and data teams to ensure high-quality software delivery.
• Contribute to code reviews, best practices, and documentation.

 

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 5–8 years of professional experience in software development.
• Strong proficiency in Python (Flask, FastAPI, or Django experience preferred).
• Experience with Node.js and TypeScript development.
• Strong hands-on experience with SQL and Snowflake.
• Knowledge of GCP (Google Cloud Platform) and its core services.
• Working experience with Kafka for data streaming and message processing.
• Exposure to DevOps tools and practices (CI/CD pipelines, Docker, Kubernetes, etc.).
• Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities, especially in an onsite setup.
