Printing From a Mac Using Dymo 8.2

Target Operating Systems: Tiger, Leopard and Snow Leopard
Dymo Software: 8.2

Clean up your mac

- unplug all Dymo USB cables from Mac
- unplug all Dymo printers from power source
- go to Apple | System Preferences | Print & Fax and remove ALL Dymo
printers by clicking the minus button
- download and launch the latest 8.2 using this version:

- when you get to Installation Type, select Uninstall at the top of
the dialog window. This will remove any previous Dymo install. It
should clean it up

- If Dymo is still in the Application folder, drag it to the Trash bin
- go to Machintosh HD/Library/Internet Plugins and drag
DymoLabelPlugin to the trash bin
- go to Machintosh HD/Users/[YourMacUserName]/Library/Internet Plugins
and drag DymoLabelPlugin to the trash bin

Installing Dymo Software

- relaunch the Dymo install file again
- install this as normal, when you reach installation type, select
easy install
- plug in demo printer when prompted
- launch Dymo software and print a label - this should work
- quit Dymo

Installing Special Safari Plugin Software

- click on the following link - Safari plugin and Dymo API
applications:

- download and install DYMO Label v.8 Software Developers Kit -
Applescript API
- download DYMO Label v.8 Software Developers Kit - Safari Plugin
- once the file is done downloading, locate it in your File Finder and
find the "Safari Plug-in files" directory
- copy the DYMO Safari Addin.bundle to the /Machintosh HD/Library/
Internet Plug-ins directory
- locate the downloaded file/folders in the File Finder again that you
downloaded above and copy all folder contents from:

Safari Plugin Files/Libary/Frameworks/Dymo/DLS8

To folder:

/Machintosh HD/Library/Frameworks/Dymo/DLS8

- close ALL safari browser.. click and hold mouse over the safari icon
at the bottom of your screen and select Quit
- [technical person only - step not necessary] reopen safari and
locate the downloaded file/folders in the File Finder again and locate
the example.html

Creating Labels to Use with LambsList

- create a new directory using the File Finder under /Applications
named "DymoLabelFiles"
- open Dymo 8.2 software and create a new Address label with an
Address object and whatever formatting you desire
- save this Address label as "/Applications/DymoLabelFiles/Address
(30252, 30320, 30572).DLF.label"
- create a new Shipping label with an Address object and whatever
formatting you desire
- save this Shipping label as "/Applications/DymoLabelFiles/Shipping
(30323, 30573).DLF.label"
- close Dymo 8.2
- close all Safari browsers
- open Safari and login to lambslist and try to checkin a child/
printing a label
