Of Villains and Men
Faith and Religion in Super-villain Narratives
Panel and Discussion

Saturday May 7th, 2011 @ 3:00pm

The Lamb's Church - 61 Rivington Street (Lower East Side), Manhattan
Free Comic Books will be provided courtesy of Midtown Comics and Diamond Comics Distributors
Refreshments will be provided courtesy of UKYM

Everyone knows Superheroes, and a Superhero cannot be a hero without a great villain! But, why do we consider Super-Villains evil? Some of our favorite villains have similar narratives as some of our heroes, and many of the villains we encounter hold to the same moral codes and religious ideals as our favorite heroes, some are even practicing their childhood religions! Join us for our second annual Free Comic Book Day event and discuss with us the role of religion and faith in the stories of many super-villains. Be there!

As a great added bonus! We will be giving out a FREE Green Lantern comic, along with many other titles, courtesy of Midtown Comics and titles, including Marvel and DC titles, provided by Diamond Comics Distributors.
