Regarding our Sister Ercida Fernandez

Blessings in the Lord,

It is with deep sympathy and sadness that the Pastors and Leadership of The Lamb's Church announce that our dearly beloved sister Ercida Fernandez, mother of Elizabeth Fernandez-Torres, passed away yesterday May 16th, 2011. Today we rejoice in the knowledge that she has passed the barrier of time as we know it and is forever at home with the Savior she faithfully served. Surviving along Ercida's husband is a beautiful family that needs our support and strength.

The Fernandez family finds healing in God's tender embrace, and in knowing others remember and care. Please keep them in prayer as we believe in the Lord and His word that guarantees comfort for those who mourn.

The wake for sister Ercida is scheduled for Thursday May 19, 2011 between 2pm - 9pm at James Funeral Home of Queens (8901 Rockaway Blvd. Ozone Park, NY 11416). A commemoration service, led by our congregation, will begin at 7pm.
