IN OUR HANDS, free film screening, 7pm Weds 3rd October, Brixton Pound Cafe, 77 Atlantic Road, SW9 8PU.

We are delighted that the producer Holly Black will attend to answer questions. The film was produced along with the Landworkers Alliance and Via Campesina.

Please also note the remaining excellent events in the Incredible Edible Lambeth Harvest programme for Urban Food Fortnight which include 2 guided walks, one specially for under 4s and their parents 10.00-12.00 on Weds 3rd, starting at Brixton Orchard and another, 11.00-13.00 on Saturday, starting at the Brixton Windmill going to the Loughborough Farm - which will be having an open day and market.

Vicki Hird from Sustain will kick start discussion on food. We hope to also discuss health impacts and anything else that comes up.

The banks are hoarding money - the government, food and medicines. They have just appointed a minister for Food Supply. What happens if their planning is not enough?
