Fwd: Final planning for Lambeth Country Show this weekend!

Dear local friends,

Transition Town Brixton is hosting an inspiring bunch of organisations in the Eco Village at the Lambeth Country Show this weekend. Red Line Action will be using a huge Gaia head to gather people to vision and pledge for a zero carbon future. Repowering London, The Remakery, Extinction Rebellion Lambeth, Lambeth Friends of the Earth, Incredible Edible Lambeth, Local Greens veg box scheme.. Brixton Peoples Fridge will be making fridge magnets with children. You can 'race the sun' on a bike generator and make a tetrapac wallet, buy a plant, guess the pariculates in a jar and of course tie your visions, pledges and please to Gaia's hair. They will feed into the Lambeth Climate Emergency Plan. 

On Sunday 4-5pm in the Masterclass tent in the Discovery Zone we will host with Red Line Action and  Lambeth for a Cool Planet,  an event: What can we do in Lambeth to fight Climate Change? 

Come and be inspired to get stuck in to making a better future together!

We are in the Eco Village, the olive green patch on this map. Look out for a giant willow sculpture on your left as you enter from the cross roads in the middle of the park. Please tell you networks and volunteers and encourage them to visit and bring friends. Show opens at noon both days and runs officially till 8pm. Be prepared for rain on Saturday. If you'd like to join us on the stand to talk to people about what you know is going on in Lambeth you'd be welcome.
